Curamus Disability Services is seeking an organised, reliable and professional Office Administrator to join our growing team.
We are looking for someone who has experience working within the NDIS sector and is confident using Microsoft Office 365, with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
About the Role
This position will initially commence on a casual basis, with the intention of progressing to a permanent position for the right candidate as the role and organisation continue to grow.
The Office Administrator will provide day-to-day administrative support to our management and support teams, helping to ensure our office operations run efficiently and our NDIS documentation and processes remain organised and up to date.
Key Responsibilities
General office administration and coordination
Managing emails, correspondence and phone enquiries
Using Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams
Maintaining accurate participant and staff records
Assisting with NDIS-related documentation and administration
Preparing reports, documents, spreadsheets and correspondence
Data entry and maintaining electronic filing systems
Assisting with compliance documentation and audits
Supporting management with day-to-day administrative tasks
Liaising professionally with participants, families, support coordinators, staff and external providers
Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately
Other general administrative duties as required
About You
The successful applicant will have:
Previous experience working within the NDIS/disability sector
A good understanding of NDIS terminology, processes and documentation
Strong computer skills and confidence using Microsoft Office 365
Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A professional, positive and flexible approach
The ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines
A strong understanding of confidentiality and privacy requirements
A willingness to learn and grow with the organisation
Desirable
Previous experience in an NDIS provider administration role
Knowledge of NDIS compliance requirements
Certificate III or higher in Business Administration, Disability Services, Community Services or a related field
